INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED CORPORATE SECRETARIES OF SRI LANKA

The Institute of Chartered Corporate Secretaries of Sri Lanka was incorporated under the Companies Act No.17 of 1982 and re-registered under the new Companies Act No.7 of 2007 as a Company limited by guarantee.

Vision

To be the leading professional body in the field of Corporate Management and Governance in Sri Lanka with complete responsibility for turning out world class qualified Corporate Secretaries in Sri Lanka.

Principal Activities, Nature and Review of Operations

To promote the study and research into law and practice of Corporate Secretaryship.

Students

As on 31st March, 2011 the Institute had ninety (90) registered students.

Members

As at the last Annual Return in October, 2010 the Institute had 60 fully qualified members of which fourteen are Graduates, twenty nine Associate Members and seventeen Fellow Members. All Members have qualified under the London examinations and are Members of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators of United Kingdom.
